Hi, I’m Lindsay Werra.
However you found me, I’m glad you’re here.
My path has been a winding one, from studying biology in the rainforest of Costa Rica to learning Taoist abdominal massage in Thailand. Along the way, my passions for yoga and holistic practices grew into a deep reverence for the lineages of somatic healing arts as I experienced their transformative power personally and in community. Weaving these lineages together with my fascination for neurobiology, I found a home in the niche field of somatic psychotherapy.
Although I was raised in an individualistic culture, I orient towards the collective. Facing systemic inequalities and environmental catastrophe, we are living in a pivotal time that calls for profound transformation. I consider awareness, mindfulness, compassion, and responsibility—the ability to respond—potent tools for personal and collective liberation. I enjoy sharing these tools and relish in witnessing clients discover their inner wisdom, power, and resilience.
I am inspired by the natural world and am committed to living in right relationship to all beings, human and more-than-human alike.
